I would like to offer you the opportunity for a relaxing day of exploring and playing in my print studio. Small group sessions, a maximum of 4 people. Fresh coffee, a selection of teas, cake and lunch will be provided for you during a day of exploring and playing. Over 4 hours you are welcome to have a go at the following: linocut drypoint etching monotype gelli marbling silk screen (stencil) kamihanga pochoir hybrid The purpose of my studio is to provide a fun and relaxing setting where you can feel inspired and relaxed. This time is perfect for exploring new medium or pampering yourself in ones you already enjoy. What's included in the price? I'm delighted to offer you my hospitality, support and encouragement along with a variety of tools and materials including: cartridge paper newsprint paper soft cut and traditional lino water based printing inks fabric ink for screen and block printing basic cotton fabric table top printing press A3 relief press carving tools silk screen scrim (Please feel free to bring any fancy paper or fabric you would like to use.) Refreshments offered: Fresh coffee, selection of teas, biscuits / cake, fruit and a vegetarian lunch. About your tutor: Aprille is a practicing visual artist and course leader with over 10 years in delivering printmaking courses to all ages and abilities. Her aim is to champion and support others in their creative journey. By listening, engaging and visualising Aprille works to break down the idea of being ‘arty’ to enable an open and playful mindset that encourages people to build confidence and have a go.
