Service Description

You will create marvelously exciting unique monoprints using the stencil technique, pochoir. You will create a composition of paper cutout stencils to create a design that is then reworked again and again to create pattern, texture and surprising outcomes. You’ll find yourself absorbed and wonder where the hours went. Duration: 4 hours | Level: any (minimum age 14 years) You can expect to take home a range of unique prints. About your tutor: Aprille is a practicing visual artist and course leader with over 10 years in delivering printmaking courses to all ages and abilities. Her aim is to champion and support others in their creative journey. By listening, engaging and visualising Aprille works to break down the idea of being ‘arty’ to enable an open and playful mindset that encourages people to build confidence and have a go. What's included in the price? Along with my guidance all materials are provided including, ink, cutting tools, paper and a selection of burnishing tools to play with. I have lots of art and design books that you are welcome to look through for inspiration. You can expect fresh coffee, a selection of teas, soft drinks and snacks. Please bring a packed lunch, as lunch will not be supplied.
