Service Description

Explore the art of artistic printmaking through a series of projects and processes that are aimed at promoting individual ideas and thinking. Open to all young people 10 - 14 years. Join us as we adventure through the exciting world of printmaking. There will be a variety of printmaking related materials and tools used along with drawing, collage, painting, sketch-booking and animation. A group exhibition will be held at the end of each full term. What's included: all materials including relief press, hand presses, silk screens and many various printmaking paraphernalia, sketch book, group storage draw and exhibition curation. This is perfect for young people looking for explore art through the medium of printmaking, who enjoy working on projects in their own individual way. Young printmakers runs term time booked in half term chunks with an exhibition at the end of the full term. The sessions are £13.50 each. About your tutor: Aprille McShane is a practising visual artist and educator with over 10 years in delivering printmaking classes to all ages and abilities. Aprille has tutored young people on National Saturday Club, Hallam University, ACCTs teenage youth club and primary schools. Her aim is to champion and support others in their creative journey.
