Service Description

Tetra Pak packaging make excellent drypoint matrixes. Join me in scratching and mark making to create brilliant intaglio prints. If you enjoy sketching then this printmaking is perfect for you. You will create marvelously exciting prints taking inspiration from local woodlands. This 5 hour class nature printmaking workshop will start in Bingham Park where we will find inspiration in the nature around us to create our nature inspired tetra pak prints. We will then return to the studio in Greystones to compose, ink and print. Duration: 5 hours Level: any (minimum age 14 years) Location: easy access studio with on street parking and good public transport links. You can expect to take home a unique drypoint print using packaging material. About your tutor: Aprille is a practicing visual artist and workshop leader with over 10 years in delivering printmaking courses to all ages and abilities. Her aim is to champion and support others in their creative journey. By listening, engaging and visualising Aprille works to break down the idea of being ‘arty’ to enable an open and playful mindset that encourages people to build confidence and have a go. You can expect fresh coffee, a selection of teas and snacks. Please bring a packed lunch, as lunch will not be supplied.
